Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 1 –2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional toppings: grated Parmesan fresh herbs, or a favorite sauce

Instructions
 

Prepare the Squash

  • Wash the spaghetti squash under cool running water.
  • Slice it in half lengthwise using a sharp knife.
  • Scoop out the seeds and stringy pulp with a spoon.

Season the Squash

  • Brush the cut sides of the squash with olive oil or butter.
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Cook in the Air Fryer

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the seasoned squash halves in the air fryer basket, cut-side up.
  • Cook for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until the flesh is tender and can be easily scraped into strands with a fork.

Shred the Squash

  • Once cooked, let the squash cool slightly.
  • Use a fork to gently scrape the flesh into long strands.
