Ingredients

  • 1 lb 16 oz potato gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese fresh herbs (basil, parsley)

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 3-5 minutes.

Prepare the Gnocchi:

  • Pat the gnocchi dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the gnocchi with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Cook the Gnocchi:

  • Place the gnocchi in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.

Check for Doneness:

  • Gnocchi should be golden brown and crispy on the outside, with a tender interior. Adjust cooking time if needed.

Serve:

  • Transfer the crispy gnocchi to a serving dish. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs, if desired. Serve with your favorite sauce or enjoy as is!

Notes

  • For Frozen Gnocchi: Thaw completely and pat dry before air frying. Cook for 12-15 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
  • Sauce Pairings: Marinara, creamy pesto, garlic butter, or sun-dried tomato sauce.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: To reheat, place gnocchi back in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 2-3 minutes to restore crispiness.
Enjoy your crispy, golden Air Fryer Gnocchi!
