Ingredients

  • 1 jar of dill pickle chips preferably Vlasic or Mt. Olive
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • Cooking spray optional, for extra crispness

Instructions

  • Pat the pickle chips dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and seasoned salt.
  • Dip each pickle chip into the beaten egg, then coat it with the almond flour mixture. Ensure even coverage.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
  • Arrange the coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If needed, spray lightly with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for 5-6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Once golden and crispy, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use a double-dredging technique: dip the pickles in egg and then coat again with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • If using pickle spears, adjust cooking time to 7-8 minutes at 390°F (200°C).
  • These pickles are best enjoyed fresh for maximum crispiness. If storing, place them in a single layer in an open container and reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
  • For a gluten-free version, substitute the almond flour with gluten-free breadcrumbs or crushed pork rinds.
