- 1 jar of dill pickle chips preferably Vlasic or Mt. Olive
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 large egg beaten
- Cooking spray optional, for extra crispness
Pat the pickle chips dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a shallow bowl, mix together almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and seasoned salt.
Dip each pickle chip into the beaten egg, then coat it with the almond flour mixture. Ensure even coverage.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
Arrange the coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If needed, spray lightly with cooking spray.
Air fry for 5-6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
Once golden and crispy, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
- For extra crunch, use a double-dredging technique: dip the pickles in egg and then coat again with the breadcrumb mixture.
- If using pickle spears, adjust cooking time to 7-8 minutes at 390°F (200°C).
- These pickles are best enjoyed fresh for maximum crispiness. If storing, place them in a single layer in an open container and reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
- For a gluten-free version, substitute the almond flour with gluten-free breadcrumbs or crushed pork rinds.
