  • 1 pound chicken tenderloins
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 large eggs room temperature

  • Preheat Air Fryer:
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to get it nice and hot before cooking.
  • Season the Chicken:
  • Sprinkle the chicken tenderloins with salt and pepper, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
  • Prepare the Breading:
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together the panko bread crumbs, seasoned bread crumbs, garlic powder, and paprika. In a separate shallow bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
  • Bread the Chicken:
  • Dip each chicken tenderloin into the whisked eggs, then into the breadcrumb mixture. Pat the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to help them stick and form a crispy coating.
  • Arrange in Air Fryer:
  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer without overlapping. If needed, cook in batches. Spritz the tops of the tenders with a light coating of cooking spray to ensure a crispy finish.
  • Cook the Chicken:
  • Air fry the tenders at 400°F for 7–8 minutes on each side, flipping halfway through the cooking time. The chicken is done when the coating is golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve and Enjoy:
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces!
