- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted or vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg optional
- Pinch of salt
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
Add the wet ingredients: Mix the eggs, melted butter or oil, and sugar into the mashed bananas until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, gently folding them together. Be careful not to overmix.
Grease an air fryer-safe baking pan or loaf tin and pour in the batter.
Bake in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the banana bread to cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
- Use very ripe bananas for a naturally sweet and moist bread.
- Customize by adding chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a streusel topping for extra flavor and texture.
- Air fryer models vary, so adjust cooking time as needed. Keep an eye on the bread during the last few minutes.
